How productive were you today? And how do you know? If certain accomplishments were realized I might be tempted to report that it was a good day; but productive? If I believe you when you tell me that time’s my most valuable asset, then why am I not measuring how I use my time so I get the greatest value from it and it delivers the greatest impact?
By definition, productivity is a formula, and in this case its ACTIVITY times IMPACT divided by TIME. OK that’s pretty tough to measure, but my point here is; the use of time should be measured. We measure everything else… Sales measures revenues and activities leading to revenues through CRM, Finance measures business economics through P&L and cash flow, Manufacturing measures productivity per hour per person per shift etc.
In this latest episode of Timekeepers we offer some practical ways of measuring time so you can plan better and be more productive. Please enjoy the video and if you’d like to explore how unconventional common sense like this can help you or your business make better decisions with your time, reach audacious goals, and become more empowered and energized toward an awesome outcome, please reach out to me.
